Farewell Marc

Classe Mini is extremely sad to learn that Marc Chopin passed away after battling the disease for years.

He had fought with passion since 2016 to organize the SAS – Les Açores – Les Sables d’Olonne, a now essential race on the Mini calendar!

He also greatly organized with great success the 2021 Mini-Transat, otverthrowing the culcanoes, COVID, or killer whales which stood in the way of an edition full of pitfalls and had laid the foundations for what the 2023 edition will be: a festive, popular and lively event!

He has been a key factor in the Mini calendar these recent years, ffighting to the end so that as many people as possible discover offshore racing through the Mini, even under the most complicated conditions.

Many Thanks Marc for all you have done and so that the "Esprit Mini" still stir on the pontoon in Les Sables d'Olonne and elsewhere!

A big thank you for your energy and your passion for these ocean races that made you vibrate so much!

We'll miss you!

In such difficult times, Classe Mini sends its unwavering support to his family, Nathalie and his children, who are never far from the pontoons when there are minis as welle as to the entire offshore sailing ecosystem of Les Sables d'Olonne.
